Our Sanctuary

Welcome area at Gail's Pets Second Chance
Gail’s Pets Second Chance, a 501(c)(3) organization, exists solely to provide a haven for abandoned, unwanted, or abused pets while they await forever homes.
From the hands-on interaction provided by our all-volunteer crew, to the medical services rendered by our veterinarian and his staff, our goal is to provide compassionate care to these animals in need.
***SPECIAL NOTE - FOR A FUNDERAISER THIS YEAR WE HAVE PUT TOGETHER A WONDERFUL 300 PAGE COOKBOOK. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ONE, PLEASE SEND A EMAIL TO SANDYE AT cen89722@centurytel.net. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.***
Our sanctuary is located in Oakland, Arkansas, on the shores of beautiful Bull Shoals Lake in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. By auto, we are approximately two hours from Springfield, Missouri, and just over four hours from Little Rock and St. Louis.
We encourage prospective adoptive parents and other interested parties to visit our facility, where you will be greeted by a host of wonderful dogs and cats, most of whom are available for placement. A member of our staff will be happy to give you a tour of the sanctuary, and answer all of your questions regarding adoption, foster care, or volunteer opportunities.
To arrange a visit to our sanctuary, please contact our Founder/President, Gail Ross, by phone at (870) 431-8229, or via e-mail to gailspets@hotmail.com
